Guys, this fall is really like me!
seems very good year for chestnuts and I even learned to eat the mushrooms! I have always sucked for 35 years!
Mind you, it eats it cooked in abundance in every way: if they are too soft they make me sick again, so no mushrooms in olive oil (for example), but I love the risotto with porcini mushrooms or any other pasta or bruschetta .. . TASTE OF THE WOODS!
Then I bought this year especially walnuts and almonds. Peanuts I like less.
I also learned to make the chestnuts in the microwave is pretty good, though not comparable to those cooked on a wood fire. But who is that Milan so 'lucky to be able to light a wood fire?
a kid I went camping with my parents and them 'cause they lit the fire and were of great cooking group with such good company ...! * Sigh * what beautiful memories! All well-covered, near the roaring fire to keep warm and your fingers burned in his haste to peel chestnuts. And the wine that turned ... :-)
