THE LOOK BIRDS OF HEAVEN neither sow nor reap!

Isa does not hesitate to witness the grave of Israel's fear of being abandoned by God in the sad situation in its history. Hence the psalmist's exhortation to trust in God, "Salvation, cliff, rock, hope, shelter, defense" (The Reading and Psalm).
Jesus translates into expressive images that we call "divine providence": the birds of heaven, the lilies and grass of the field. Is God the author of this splendor of nature, which does not seem to deserve so much interest, since it is a very ephemeral splendor?
is the Heavenly Father who cares for the birds to feed and clothe the grass. So why 'worry about tomorrow' for the food and clothing, as we were not aware that "our Heavenly Father knows that we need "?
rightly considered as the first Jesus-ing "the service of God," making sure the aid of "Providence" as "addition" (Gospel). St. Paul calls "the kingdom of God and his righteousness" as "the mysteries of God" that we have the duty to "serve" as faithful stewards (Reading II).

You have heard that it was said, 'hate your enemy "!

The value of the Old Testament is its vivid sense of God's presence
already expressed in the creation, this presence becomes more "tangible" in the history of the Jewish people, who holds the "Home" in the tent in the desert before, and in the temple, later. Moses understood this privilege and its consequences.
presence of God is "holy" to require a result that his people are "holy," not only diligently observing the liturgical norms, but also transforming their way of life (I Read ).
The fact that Jesus requires from us the perfection of the Father shows us that there is in this capacity, he avendoci transformed into true children of God Hence the need to overcome even the correct behavior of publicans and Gentiles, just to show that we have become "children of Our heavenly Father "(Gospel).
Paul recalls the image of "House," now we realized, "temple of God," in which "dwells the Spirit of God." Possessing faith in this true "wisdom," we are careful not to destroy this "holy temple of God, which is us.

SO THAT WAS THE OLD BUT I TELL YOU

Jesus did not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, that the ancient Jewish revelation, which accompanied Israel on its journey of faith, but came to fulfill it.
fact, he points to himself as the Messiah, who is now the base, the center and summit of the old law. In the reading we read that God "has not commanded any one to be ungodly, and has not given anyone permission to sin."
In the Gospel, repeatedly citing the Old Testament and especially the Ten Commandments, Jesus radicalized the law extending its influence into man. It engages the mind, eyes, hearts of the disciples. This is the new law and final.
But to make it their own, one must practice a tough fight against evil, which can be committed "with the foot, hand, with the ' eye, with the mind. "
why Jesus uses expressions paradoxical: to enter the kingdom of our heavenly Father, it is better to deprive of the right eye or right hand. St. Paul, noting that we need a new heart, shows a sure way to success: let themselves be led by the Spirit, inner teacher.

YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH .. . YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

risen Christ is the light that overcomes the darkness of sin and death: this is what we celebrate at Mass every Sunday.
Today's readings help us remain in this truth offering an invitation to live in the light of Isaiah. Concern to the Jewish people to rebuild the temple, God points out that true worship is that of love for the poor: this makes light of our existence.
This line is also salt and light Jesus calls his disciples. Note that Jesus does not say "you must be ..." but "you are." The verb tells a fact, says the new reality of the disciples. They are not only enlightened, but those involved in the mission of Jesus, are transmitters of light, are light.
The disciples can not be attributed to the light themselves, but they obscure, if not live by faith. That's why there is also a command: "... so shine." Be salt or light does not depend on them is a gift received by the master, but it's up to them to live according to this new reality: If you light need to shine. Even today we can not shirk this task be light for the world!
