How Did Woman Get Such Small Waist In The 50s?

Sunday of Advent (November 28, 2010)

we encounter the Lord who comes

the prophecy of Isaiah (I Reading) announces that the Messiah is the one who opens the gates of Jerusalem, namely the kingdom to all nations. In the words of the Psalmist, we too are invited to take up with courage our way in an environment of communion and peace, as a sign of hope for all who are invited to join the path of the Church.

Jesus announced a review (Gospel), to which human life will be submitted. God will separate lucidly and without remedy what in recent history seems to be so vague and seemingly comfortable. Good and evil seem to go side by side in a tangle of other difficult to disentangle, but the verdict of God will light and will separate from each other. In short, the future that we hope and we see that this must be shaped and oriented. St. Paul paints the story as the fulfillment of a great day (second reading). Every Advent we rush to the dawn of the Lord's Day which will be much brighter as we will be conformed to the mind of Christ.
