Hard And Lowered Cervix Missed Period

II Sunday after Christmas (January 2, 2011)

IN HIM It was life
AND LIFE enlightens every man

To those who accept the Word, God gives power to become his children, who are such not by his own power, but because he has generated. This is the great message that the liturgy gives us this Sunday, which acts as a pause for reflection and contemplation of the mystery celebrated in the Octave of Christmas. A mystery is not completely beyond the mind and heart, as God has pitched his tent among us (I read), but that applies to join our faith to know him more deeply (Reading II), thus living in his love.

The Lord does not deprive us of the aid to make this journey: John the Baptist is an example of light with the humility of his life and his preaching, vibrant and able to shake the conscience. So many signs put God in the most ordinary of our lives that we may glorify the magnificence of his works and accept his commands as a response to his covenant: if our lives will be enlightened by God, it will be full life in his name!
